7:30PM | CONCERT III: Vienna’s Masters

The approximately 50-year period in Vienna between the earliest and latest works on this program may forever be considered the crown jewel of classical music history. The astounding novelty, profundity, and sheer output of Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, and Schubert make them the giants of the turn of the 19th century. Haydn’s string quartets, Schubert’s songs, Beethoven’s piano sonatas, and Mozart’s anything are among the greatest creations in human history.
