Our Leadership
Artistic Directors Gloria Chien and Soovin Kim are internationally renowned musicians, educators, and recent Lincoln Center Chamber Music Award recipients. Our Composer in Residence and Director of Education is David Serkin Ludwig, Dean of Music at the Julliard School, and a beloved presence at our concerts. Even our Audio Engineer, Alan Bise, is a star. He is a multi-Grammy award winner; his most recent Grammy coming in 2023. These artists take our work to a whole other level.
Our Audiences
Over the past fifteen years, we have developed a loyal audience of passionate fans. Our audiences are comprised of community-minded affluent individuals and local leaders. In the words of one patron, “The Festival is my favorite part of the year; I love how there are no barriers between me and the artists...it is a rich and warm community of connection.”
Our Programs
The core of our programming is our nine-day summer festival that includes dozens of concerts, talks, receptions, dinners, and one of the largest fine-arts gallery shows in the state. We also have concerts throughout the year, and our ONE Strings education program provides free music education to public school students in Burlington's most financially disadvantaged neighborhood.
