When we created our Festival in 2009, little did we imagine how quickly our audiences would embrace the Festival. Your attendance at concerts and events, your donations, and your goodwill have made it clear that the Festival has great meaning for you. You encourage us to continue to bring the most thoughtful programming and highest quality of music-making to our audiences.
Your financial support has allowed us to present legendary personalities such as violinist Arnold Steinhardt of the Guarneri String Quartet, established young leaders of the music world such as pianists Ignat Solzhenitsyn and Jonathan Biss, and rising talents such as clarinetist Romie de Guise-Langlois. You have facilitated the commissioning of new works, and made it possible to invite distinguished visiting composers such as Steven Stucky and Joan Tower. Your further support will help us expand our outreach activities during the school year to reach more students and aspiring young musicians in a lasting way, throughout our ONE Strings project and through our collaboration with the Vermont Youth Orchestra.
We hope you will consider supporting the Festival financially, as well as participating by attending concerts, master classes, and more. Please invite your friends to do the same. Together, we can ensure that what began as a dream of Soovin and a few friends is a lasting and wonderful part of our cultural landscape. The Festival is a 501(c)3 organization, and gifts are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
