Join us August 21 – August 29 for our 2021 annual summer festival. The theme is Epiphanies — an exploration of compositions that were influenced by pivotal events in life, such as love, illness, and loss.
Highlights in August include the Vermont premiere of an LCCMF co-commissioned chamber opera, A Song by Mahler, composed by Marc Neikrug; performances by the Parker Quartet of Schumann and Smetana; and two glorious quintets: Schubert’s cello quintet and Coleridge-Taylor’s clarinet quintet featuring David Shifrin.
We’ll be filming all 7 concerts and streaming them online starting in mid-September.
Consider purchasing a Grand Festival Passes for $225. This will give you admission to 7 live concerts, 4 online Inside Pitch talks, 3 in-person events with our young Resident Ensemble AND all 7 streamed concerts! Pass will be go on sale on our website o/a July 1.
