We’re thrilled to welcome back some of our LCCMF friends returning to perform in August, as well as many performers who will be new to our audience.

Our first guest speaker is the remarkable Eugenia Zukerman who will be talking about her music and her Alzheimer’s disease. She will read excerpts from her book, Like Falling Through a Cloud, and will be joined for this event by her daughter, soprano Arianna Zukerman.

That same afternoon, we welcome psychiatrist and concert pianist Dr. Richard Kogan who will talk about Robert Schumann’s mental illness and how this is reflected in his work. Dr. Kogan will perform excerpts from Schumann’s Fantasie and Carnivale.
