2010 Winter Concerts

Please join us for some winter musical warmth at LCCMF's two February concerts - Winter Encore and Viennese Romance.

On Wednesday, February 3, Soovin will be joined by Festival artists Jeewon Park and Edward Arron for a reprise of some of the hits from last summer's Festival including the stunning piece composed for our 2009 Festival by composer-in-residence David Ludwig. This Winter Encore concert at the Elley-Long Music Center will also feature the Beethoven Trio in B flat, Op. 11 - one of the greatest chamber works for clarinet - featuring dazzling young artist Romie de Guise Langlois. Those of you who attended our pre-Festival concerts last spring will remember Romie's wonderful playing.

On Friday, February 26, we will be at the E. Glenn Giltz Auditorium at SUNY Plattsburgh for Viennese Romance - an evening of glowingly warm chamber music by Viennese composers. Soovin will be joined by horn player Ann Ellsworth, cellist Michal Korman, and Festival artist Jeewon Park, for this concert co-sponsored by the SUNY Plattsburgh Department of Music.
