Cancellation Policy

In the spirit of “the show must go on” the Lake Champlain Chamber Music Festival will rarely cancel a program because of inclement weather.  Please use your own discretion in planning travel and allow extra time when needed.  In case of extreme weather emergency, other emergency event, or other circumstances beyond our control, cancellations will be announced on the Festival’s voicemail, and on the Festival website and Facebook page. An email will be sent to all those on the Festival’s list, and Vermont Public Radio will be informed.

In the event of cancellation, ticket holders will be eligible for tickets at a re-scheduled or subsequent event.  The Lake Champlain Chamber Music Festival is not responsible for monetary or other losses in the event of a performance cancellation.

Performers and programs are subject to change without notification.

Privacy Policy

Collection of Information

The Lake Champlain Chamber Music Festival collects personal contact information primarily to inform patrons about upcoming Festival activities and as part of our fundraising strategy. We collect information provided by you via our online email list, website, and printed forms.

Communication with You

We communicate with patrons about ticket orders and donations, and share information on artistic and education programs and upcoming events. Ongoing communications include emailed bulletins with information on programming and breaking news; and periodic mailed brochures and fliers on Festival Programming.  You may also receive telephone calls or letters regarding donations to the Festival.

Sharing of Information with Third Parties

The Festival respects your privacy. We do not share patrons’ e-mail addresses, postal addresses, or telephone numbers; nor do we rent or sell our lists. On occasion, and on a one-time-use basis, the Festival may exchange mailings with other non-profit arts organizations whose programming we believe will be of interest to our patrons. Postal address lists are only shared if we are co-promoting an event with another organization.  For all other events addresses are not shared; any mailings to our list are handled directly by the Festival or through a mailing house. These trades enable us to expand our reach to like-minded arts patrons, and are important as we work to increase awareness of our programming and mission.

The Festival periodically includes information about other arts events in its email news bulletins.  The decision to share such information is made on a case by case basis, where we believe that the programming is of interest to the Festival’s patrons because Festival artists are performing, or where the Festival has reached an agreement to collaborate on marketing with another arts organization. Email addresses are not shared.

The FlynnTix Regional Box Office

The FlynnTix Regional Box Office shares contact information about ticket buyers for Festival events with us, and we routinely request this information.  The FlynnTix Regional Box Office will not forward any information to the Festival if patron permission has been denied.
