The Listening Clubs offer a new way to learn about and experience music at LCCMF. Just like a book club (but for our concerts) participants will join Composer-in-Residence David Ludwig in exploring and discussing the works to be performed. The group will hear recordings, talk about the pieces in their historical context, and analyze the music in a clear and accessible way. No previous musical knowledge is necessary; the only requirements are a set of ears and the desire to be a better listener. Following each session we plan to sit in on a rehearsal for the piece just discussed.

There are a limited number of tickets available for each Listening Club, as David is keen to make this an intimate experience and to allow for active discussion.
